Minor issues, but I guess it does show....

The strap keeper is not straight neither are the ends glued.

Also the stitching....

Honestly, im not as observant as you Hobbit.. In a good way i mean.. But for me the feeling or how comfortable it wears that matters. OEM straps still the best but for the
pricetag :HammerHead: also I like my straps a bit longer..

as for high price=high Q  :-X  I will be happy to buy a good quality strap with low price if any..
can't afford any top grade watches, so have to be content with straps only d...

OEM strap actually not that expensive. Some independent can cost just as much if not more. I agree that the OEM strap is comfortable but some of them are really thin. I like my straps thick and tough. Just got the Heroic18 strap. I like it plenty. Tough and I am sure it will patina as well.

Told yaa... you'll love it..  Now back to juggling and matching the strap with which watch again... Wear it in good health... If you may how does it compares with James's creations..

James does not have an equivalent product as per Donald (from what I have seen). But in terms of overall quality and finish, I will still go with James. I have one of James Swiss Ammo and I have to say it is one of my favourite straps. It is thick and 'brutal'. Very tough and you can feel it. I like Donald's choice of leather and colour, perhaps he is a bigger outfit or has more resources at his disposal. I know that James have limited resources and limited access to quality leather.

Well the next person to check out is George Lam and Ted Su. I have seen Ted's straps and they do look good. Have not tried them on personally. Will report more once I use them.
