Some of my watches are stored together with my antique cameras, old comic books, and among my collection of backpacks in the house, in the store etc.

Makes me wonder, is it really that risky in MY?

I just place my stuff on a tray next to the bed and I am off to work sometimes for more than a week.

Terrence

Singapore is a very safe country (?)...In our country, Thieves can 'ta-pau' the safe with the bed sheet and drag it along all the way to the pick-up truck and even wave bye x 2 to the guard/s at the gated community (at my sister house)  :Scolding:

Wah scary  :Blue:

Sigh. So is it better to stay in condo or landed?

I grew up in a small town so sometimes my wife complains that I take security very lightly. Use to leave our cars outside unlocked too. Maybe beauce we are too poor to have anything worth to steal back in Ipoh.

Hi Terrence,
Ipoh no longer safe heaven.  :Blue:
My neighbour had his backdoor broken thru & into his kitchen few months ago.
Lucky had internal alarm & woke him up (was about 5am) & he managed to scared the robbers away.  :HammerHead:
My friend not so lucky - break in at backdoor.
He lost his notebook & a few things, including an IWC left on TV counter.
This was done in broad daylight!
My neighbours & I had the backdoors strenghtened with iron bars now.
Take care, Ciao!

That is correct. We should not let the whole world knows where we are (through FB, four square, viber etc) except our close family member.
The only time I need the whole world to know is when I go into deep jungle or scale mountains.
