Yes, I have an orange monster with fantastic lume and lasts a pretty decent amount of time. Well below 1k too.

Check out the entry market  - Luminox, one of the best lume in the market.

I am almost a recovered watchaholic, but last checked shows only 70% recovered. How?

Most of the watches got lume even under RM500, just that how long they can last, what is the duration you are looking at, cause it is very subjective, alternatively, buy a white color torch light from Pasar malam, and point at the watches, I am sure it will always show up  ;D

Just my 32 cents

True. True.
A torch light is less than RM10.00
It is way below your budget and can get a few more watches from the balance of the budget.  :Laughing_on_floor:

Lume factor does not determine the price neither nor price factor determines the longevity of the lume.

It's like saying that a 911 GT is worth less than a Kelisa because it does not come with radio, air cond and cup holders

Sports watches may require some lume but dress watches can do without it.

The best watch for a dark environment? Any back lit watc like G-Shock.

Yup, as Terrence said, some of the most expensive watches in the world don't have lume, eg. Pateks, A. Lange etc. Not sure if patek sport models like the aquanaut and nautilus have lume though. Haven't gone to check them out.

Having lume is good, but sometimes bad, like in a cinema, have to cover the monster or will get scolded for distracting. Haha! :p

In my opinion, Just get black/orenge monster or Skx007 diving watch.... That the best watch around at the given budget. You can bring it to swim with it since its a diving watch..... Nuff said
