Saw the latest superocean 44mm the other day at the wata...

Awesome / well build and good finishing / and reasonably priced. One thing that holds me back is the rubberized coated bezel.
But the SA told me its (bezel made) of aluminum plated.....wonder which is correct.....

Might drop by this weekend to see-look...and ask more questions.

Went there last Sat and the event was relatively quiet.

Tried to hook up a conversation with one of the SA and was re-direct to another SA whom some of them were more absorbed in between their small talk. They tried to 'divert' my presence to one another and I said to myself 'tiu' ... are they working or what?
Finally, one Sa came over quite reluctantly and I start asking more in formations on the latest super ocean 44mm and he started blaring out his 'technical' talk......overly to overkill on the many types of straps and buckles that came along with their watches..

After about 3 minutes of his sales time, I said 'thank you and walk away.....killing my urges to look further and potential purchases.....

David,

Seems to me that the SA does not want to generate sales and "makan gaji buta" only.

I think they hired those temp staff, basically just makan gaji and pass time. Most company made this kind of mistake, just hire temp to fill up the vacant, if they are not supervised, then it will be like chicken running without head...Or may be the Supervisor also temp staff  :Laughing_on_floor: :Laughing_on_floor:

Temp staff or not, they should be undergoing basic customer service course.
Eg greet the customer, ask the customer if they can be of any help etc.
I seldom see such acts from SA these days.  :Blue:

the usual practice is you hire sufficient number of temp and several co staffs will be at hand to assist on prospects tech/buying enquiries or at hand when prospects convey "buying signal".

david, i feel for you. i would be pissed too.
