In regards to the 'trinity', this is the only piece i can wear as my wrist size would impede any efforts of wearing the other 2 nicely. Not to mention the fact that if i really take the plunge again, this time memang i drown la  :Laughing_on_floor: . Maybe in a few years time I would get another piece for the trinity  :Praying:

A big congrats! Even though it's solid caseback, but you know hidden inside is the the solid calibre 3120 with 22k gold sculpted rotor.

The diver is still on my wish list!

Hi G.Mac,

I need to point something out as I noticed the internal rotating bezel marker on 35min and 45min was not aligned. Could it be the angle of the shot and not mis-alignment?

I did not aligned the bezel having tested it out earlier. Sharp eye though. I never noticed it myself.

After some thoughts, am deciding whether i should take a plunge but am not too confident with the idea. I really like the Audemars Piguet ROO Diver. Now the only way I can obtain one is by sacrificing a few watches in my collection including a grail which is the PAM90. Only thing with higher end watches like the AP, without a shadow of a doubt, the resale vaue is not too promising in Malaysia. At least with the Panerai, it is easier to flip. I know most our members always say that second hand value should not be thought of when we purchase a watch. Still cant help but worry on that point. Whats the consensus on Audemars Piguet as a whole? Is it a worthy upgrade for a PAM in your opinion? Thank you in advance for any feedbacks.

Hi All,

I'm new here and just came across this post.

Ironically, i was in the same boat a couple of months ago with the exact same watch. In the end, i disposed of a few pieces in order to get hold of the Diver.

Its been a few months now and i think it was the best decision i've made on my watch collecting journey.

Just when i thought i'd be happy and content. Another temptation in the form of the Explorer II 42mm loomed. And again, i sold some "lesser" pieces to acquire.

Good to know i'm not alone on this path

go for the AP Diver. After you wear it on your hand, you will feel the different, different class already. Like BMW vs Lamboghini.

IMHO ,  it is worth to upgrade panerai to AP brand . AP is high grade than panerai . AP diver is very nice ROO for entry level .  I have some friends all gone from PAM and be the owner of AP .

Thanks

Congrats bro, it is an awesome looking watch.

So did you let go your PAM90 or you somehow managed to squeeze enough to add just 1 more  ;D
