What is your take on Azimuth brand ? cool or trying to hard to be unique ?
The new model base on a tank is kindda weird, but cool depending on how you see it...i think they even aim to capture urwerk market....why ? check out this video

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vU9h3KrglXc&feature=related

look carefully, it show that the watch destroying "urwerk" like watch...hehehe...cheesy

other model also like that, kindda weird but fun. Mr Roboto, the Roulette etc....

Seen some of the watches. I believe you guys once had a GTG at the AD that sells them. They do have some nice watches. Not bad from our friends from down south.

Saw the spaceship at an AD in lot 10. Quite interesting but I don't think it is something I will keep. For the price, I can get a pre-loved moon watch or Rolex.

Not my cup of tea except the first Azimuth with conventional Arabic numbers.

the brand tries too hard to be avant-garde but ends up looking crass…
something like a Cvstos trying to look like a RM or a Hublot trying to look like an AP

no where like Urwerk or RM altho to be fair, the price diffrential is heaven and earth..
Nevertheless I'll pass big time...

Personal taste and preferences evolve over years, hopefully not 1 full circle otherwise it means we haven't learnt a single thing.

The Spaceship was the greatest design in Azimuth, but how much it cost for those? anyone know?

I like a lot of their designs, my faourite being the Mr. Roboto.  Unfortunately they are priced too high for novelty items on my budget.  If I could get a used Mr Roboto for US$1500 I'd probably biote.
