Today, I had nothing to do so I decide to go to pay a visit to German watch dealer here. The shop is located someone quiet, away from noise and crowd of the city center.

This shop sells lots of German based watch maker/company. One of it is Sinn, I believe the watch on display is much more than what I saw in Hour Glass Pavilion. I am no so sure about HG Singapore.

I doubt this can be found anywhere else

Tried on Sinn U200 and since most of you know my wrist is more ladies like than man like. I find that it was the really nice to wear compared to U1 or U2 series watch.

The U1000 diver chrono watch is a monster to wear; it is 60 min sub dial ala lemania 5100 movement based watch.
Other than selling Sinn, this shop also got sells other German based watchmaker/company like:

Meister Singer:

Schauer the dood behind stowa b-uhr watch brand:

D.Dornblüth & Sohn:

This particular brand attract me very much, handmade watch with tradition swan neck, 3 quarter plate, balance screw regulation and engraved name on the plate. What more you can ask from this indie manufacturer. If its Glashutte Ori or Alange & Sohne it will cost me nuclear bomb.

I really enjoy my time in this shop, because the owner (the guy who brought in this thing) actually entertained me. He German so naturally its easy to communicate with all the German based watch company. His wares honestly speaking are more expensive compared to buying locally in Malaysia or Singapore but then I can see his willingness to layan me even tho I know I can get it at a better price back in Malaysia.

Quite surprising I asked and he told me the service center here is able to service Ar/argon gas based watch. How tru was it I am not sure cause I don’t own Argon based watches but then it’s better than sending back to Germany because he told me that their Kastam are hantu and will hold&delay the item for long time before it find its way to Sinn Frankfurt office .
Manage to get hold of Sinn 50 anniversary catalog from him still wrap under the plastic covering.

Oh well, that all for my trip report. Hope you guys enjoy it and Bye Bye….

Great report.
Any indicative prices for the Dornbluth?
Yeah do agree with you on prices in Oz. Almost everything except cars cost more than back here.

That dornbluth in the picture is costing nearly 10k AUD. US price if i not wrong will be abit lower than that but then you can get it serviced in Oz. Most Dornbluth are quite expensive but when you comapred to similar workmanship on the big name watches then its still consider cheap you know

Nah new cars are cheap but then when you add in insurance the price will cancel out the effect of cheap car price. Petrol price changes everyday (free market mah) and each petrol dealer can set watever price they want. Our place here usually is fixed all the way. Unless you are talking 2nd hand car yes you can get it for around 5k aud already for a decent car. Similar thing to malaysia, car expensive but then insurance and petrol are not expensive.

Of cos they are, they are more of it but I too exicted till i forget to take the pic of other sinn watch.... There are actually more which too bad i do not take picture of. But seriously impressive stuff the shop had.  :Jumping:  :Jumping: :Jumping: :Jumping:

Wow... thanks for sharing...

Yes no takers for the white U1. Not my cup of tea tho. Like i written in the write up, the stuff at the shop were more expensive than other place so i am not surprised if no takers for that model. Maybe in future ppl are willing to pay premium charged by this store for a new u1 white.

Nice report , I have the almost similar one with D.Dornblüth & Sohn: as shown in picture

Sorry the shop no sell that stuff  :P I doubt you can find it anymore cause it is discontinued too. I doubt ebay deal will be original and will be instead fake ones. hahah
