Meaning he wore the watch for up to 16 hrs in a day. The watch is running fast @ 12 secs per day
The standard COSC movements are regulated up to +10 secs/day and the COSC specs are -3 to +6 sec/day

If your watch is brand new, I would suggest that you let the watch runs in for a couple more days to let it settle......if it persist,...send it back to Tag.......or you live with it.....

My 2 cents
I am almost a recovered watchaholic, but last checked shows only 70% recovered. How?

Looks like a "runaway watch" which runs very fast. It could be that the watch has not "settle down" as yet or it could be a "lemon".
Either way, I do agree with David's suggestion on how to solve this issue.

If you are near KL, Tag's technicians will be at the showcase KLCC centre court this 24/09 and 25/09 between 12pm - 4pm. From the flyers handed out seems that they can do calibration there.

Regards.

it consider normal as it not a cosc/chronometer specs, my sinn +10, ball hydrocarbon -5, tudor +30, fortis gmt +12,
rolex 1601 -3+5 second per day (24 hours).  your watch is still under warranty, u can wait until last few months before
warranty expire sent to tag h. for adjustment/services see what they can do.
