Thanks Hanz.

I'll need to make a few points clear.
1. The Exp II doesn't share the same movement with the GMT-Master. 16570 uses cal. 3185 whereas the 16700 uses cal. 3175.
2. The primary difference between the two (that I could state off-hand) is that the 3185 has an independent hour hand, as opposed to the 3175. The 3175 however has a quick-set date mechanism.
3. Since they have different movements, the question of choosing one over the other as a keeper, based on movement alone, doesn't arise as I love both.

4. The reason as to why I chose a polar Exp II over a noir one is because the latter, appearance-wise would be too similar to my GMT-Master's but the bezel.
5. I don't actually have any serious camera gear, as my tool is just a run-of-the-mill Canon 500D with kit lens. I don't even have a macro lens for that matter (I used a macro adaptor/converter for the close-ups).
Having said that, I'm happy that you all are happy with the pictures.

Damn... Everytime i see pictures like these, the need to splurge on some serious camera gear comes rushing thru my veins...
Nice pics of excellent watches...
Since u have both these watches powered by the same movement, if u were to choose one, which one will be the keeper?
I was initially interested in the coke gmtII but what kinda turns me off is te same dial and hands design. Only difference is the bezel. How different do they wear?
