What actually did happen?
Have a separate thread on it though.
Think you are the first i heard that could "damage" it.
Under normal use?
Yeah, better start a separate thread.
I am really curious as to what happen.

When I passed it to Ander, he is like wow, first time seeing it after so many year of selling Damasko...Guess mine is one in the million chances. I wish the same luck go to my RW visit, but it went the other way... ;D

Peter, if I started the thread, it will be first in the forum, cause I search the net, no previous incident before.

Glad you got to pass it in person to Anders... he is a nice fellow and I am sure he will get it sorted.
As to the luck in RW... Welcome to the club brother... got my hands burned as well but not in RW... :HammerHead:

Time to revive this thread.
The New Damasko's with the new dial designs are available at the website down south.
The price difference is only USD50 for the new models.
Tempted!!! :HammerHead:

With all this talk about Damasko, I visited their website and got interested in their 'claimed in-house' movt A35 with silicium/silicon balance wheel/spring & escapewheel. Somethin like UN and the new Omega 8500/9300.
The models with silicon components in ETA ebauches are DC66/67 Si, DC86 whereas the DK10, DK11 are in house A35 with silicon components. They're going for between 2700-3200 Euro. Not exactly cheap for a tool watch but given the hi-tech components, worth looking at if they work as promised..
Has anyone here in MWH got hold of one of these beauties and can give a performance report on accuracy,stability,etc..
My interest has been piqued...
Thanks...

Personal taste and preferences evolve over years, hopefully not 1 full circle otherwise it means we haven't learnt a single thing.
