New Damasko Models DA34/35, DA44/45

The Damasko press release reads as follows:

A new look for the watches made by Damasko. Indices now indicate the time instead of the numerals and bring a touch off timelessness for the collection of Damasko.

The dials of the new models DA 34, 35, 44 and 45 have white or black indices, up to the version of the case. All the watches are equipped with the double index at “12”, made in an elegant red, also like the seconds hand.

The dials have been changed. Technical details like the nickel-free and ice-hardened case, made in stainless steel, finished with an extremely abrasion-proof Damest layer for the version “Black”, and the sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating on both sides, still remain.

All these watches are also available with a white dial coated with white luminous compound, as you know it well from Damasko. Luminova™ C1 makes sure the high readability of the dial. It is possible to read the time also at absolute darkness.

The models DA 44 and 45 underline the sporty note with a bi-directional rotating bezel with exact minute engagement working with patented ceramic bearing and the hardened and scratchproof bezel insert finished with extremely abrasion-proof Damest layer. Two optional bezel inserts: 60-minute countdown or 12-hour ring (according to US military specifications) are possible to choose. The sealed luminous dot, named „Bi-Light“ allows the use of the bezel also without any daylight.

The movement, Caliber ETA 2836-2, works with 28.800 bph and shows reliably the time. Protected with an integrated anti-magnetic inner cage.

In order to introduce you a first impression about this new series, you receive with this e-mail two pictures of the new watches. These watches are available, starting end of September. Further informations please find out more at www.damasko.de, rubric “models”.

Sorry, lazy to post pictures  :D

Ok ok... lemme post up the pics then...
All pictures taken from the Damasko Official Site.

I must admit that I like the new designs though...
They made the right move by making a new dial instead of sticking with the "Pilot watch" Dial...
This could be a trademark Damasko look later which is kinda unique.
I likeeee

And according to Damasko's site.
The new watches will come with an optional deployant... FINALLY!!
And if you notice the models with the rotatable bezels, you can choose between 60 minute countdown or 12 hour bezels...

Great work Hanz!

Looks like Damasko playing around with colors now. Nice way to spice things up.

No Problem bah...  ;D

It's surprising how a little red can spice up a dial.
The previous model's neon yellow seconds hand still rocks.

I would have preferred the "Si" being included in this model (using Damasko's DLC escapement and silicon hairspring)
But the price would be higher as well no doubt.

I like the 3rd one with the minute countdown bezel.
Any ideas when it'll be available here and at what price?

They are increasing the price for the older models   :(

And gnomon is out of stock for the black da36. But they have the original da36 in stock. What do you guys think? Shall I wait for the black version and pay the new price or just get the original da36 for usd 1100

Wow, seriously, they increase the price for old model. Luckily I got mine before price increase.

Bro, get the one at the sale section  ;D

Ya, the 12 o'clock marking, IMO, should have a few designs, some with numbers or even Roman numericals. At least there were choices for buyers, especially "ol'skool" people like me also.

Roman numericals? I dun think it will look good overall leh...  :D
Since the case design is rather toolish, adorning the dial with roman numericals would clash no?
In my eyes it would. Maybe some futuristic fonts would be dandy...  ;D
Nevertheless, if it is priced right... I am in the market for one.
Need a superman watch back as my old one is in good hands...

What actually did happen?
Have a separate thread on it though.
Think you are the first i heard that could "damage" it.
Under normal use?
