Too similar?

Not surprising since the use the same movt.
Layout would be very similar if not exact the same.

That too as both Sinn & Damasko was collaborating in terms of sharing technological advancement earlier before both of them goes each separate ways.
So it is no surprise if both companies has similar models in the market.

Yeah, Conrad Damasko used to supply cases to Sinn and they share a great partnership together.
Now, the partnership has ended and both companies have gone their own way.
But this 2 watches really share an uncanny resemblance.
The Dial, Hands, Movement, Color.
And judging by the sneak peaks... Damasko announced theirs first... it feels to me like Sinn is trying to pull a quick one...

Oh, thanks for the clarification.
I thought it was a long term supply contract and then ended.
Now that you mentioned it, the cases for DC56/57 and Sinn 756 look awfully similar.
So when Damasko supplied the cases for 756, are they Ice-hardened or did Sinn take the cases and Tegiment them?

Wow, then whoever got the damasko cased ones are d lucky ones...
Tegiment is nothing to shout about based on my experience with them.

comments deleted…… refer to my other post on New Damasko Watches….

I have been searching at it seems like this model will incorporate Damasko's Si Silicon hairspring and Damasko's Patented DLC Escapement.... no lubrication!!
And I am guessing the price to be on the high side as the normal DC66/67 Si already cost more than 12k...

Borrowed pics from Damasko.

Silicon Hairspring. Anyone seen those 4 round apparatus used for the fine adjustment? Is that new? Haven't seen those before  ???

DC86 also comes with the silicon balance wheel,spring,escape-wheel.
Any idea of the approx. price ?
This model was announced in Damasko USA as far back as Oct 2011.
