Gigi, Try walk into the shop like me, & you will be surprised

Seriously??? just walk in like that, and ask for the catalog, and the SA will pass you the catalog, then you walk out from there??

Any dress code advice? should I use English, Chinese or Malays to ask the question???

Ikan bilis remains as ikan bilis, no scope of upgrading leh. But, can put on some make up to pretend to be ikan kampung :Laughing_on_floor:
Yeh. In KL, speaks Hokkien; in Penang or S'pore speaks Cantonese. & make sure act like Ah Beng, then the SA will think I am "water fish", waiting to be slaughter :Laughing_on_floor:

Sounds more like an Ikan Yu pretending to be ikan bilis.  :Laughing_on_floor:
Again, RESPECT!
Take care, Ciao!

Speaking from my point of views ..... medical personnel don't really fancy watches. As long as watches can display time accurately, i guess it serves its purpose. Reason being... having to take off  watches frequently esp during procedures due to sterility protocol.

So yea.... I guess owning a PP is still a distance dream  :Praying:

Alice,

I was hoping you could tell me how to use the function since you are in the medical field haha.

Anyways for the LE i think there is still some left you can go to the forum and look.

As for dealers just go to the official brand website it should list them out. Dont think any here in Msia though.

Actually, I work part time to recycle papers, that's why so many used paper on my desk ............... What to do, cost of living is too high in KL, full time income unable to make ends meet mah :Blue:

So now the ikan bilis is in the recycling line?

Last weekend, taken out for a spin with wife and kids to look for another watch for collection. Had done most of the research and at the end, at last the wife couldn't stand anymore looking at her hubby always browsing the net on watches watches watches..  ;D

So went into a few ADs and start looking for the next jewel and of course i have a figure limited due to the last damage made on my first BALL.

Not sure what these ADs sales associate look at the people coming in and out their store but at least a little respect should always there. Surely i'm not a guy that stick a credit card on my forehead or waving a cash when going in their store, but at least try to give us a pleasant experience. Not only happened at one AD, but most of it. I'm the customer so i can't say much and just ask my wife and kids to walk out from their shop (Fasting ma..).

Then drive to another place and at last meet with a very good sales associate and after all that unpleasant feeling, straight on made out the deal as wife and kids are almost exhausted entertaining me.. ahakss!  ;)

To those sombong2 SA whom i met, just wana say ...  :mooning:

But the strap is not good lah. coz my wrist in too thin..  >:( need to go back to the AD and see the technician..huhuuhuhu

I have a habit that having both of hands, holding hang-in-hand at my back and walk in any shops when doing window-shopping, of course including the watch shop.

It's true that most of SA will try to peep what I wearing. Most of the time, they come and serve me, I think they just trying to get closer to see what I really wearing.... :Laughing_on_floor:

I was looking for a nice watch for my mum last month, wearing a white T-shirt and jeans with Tissot on wist @ Sungei Wang.
Ask for best price for the a watch, get insulted by the SA. HE said: "After asking the best discount, are you going to buy it?"
!@#$%^&*()_+  :Blue:I walk away from the shop, and tried to survey at other shop.
Went into [Mention of AD name not allowed- MOD], a nice mid age lady SA serve me.
In the end bought a Datejust for my mum.

The shop at sg Wang start with Wxxxxxxx ? I have same experience, nobody bother to serve.

This sort of thing has happened to me twice. Both times it was in Singapore. The first time was when I went to buy a Rolex Submariner, the sales person wasn't even interested in showing me the watch. Needless to say I left the shop and went and bought the watch from another one instead.

The 2nd time was in the vacheron boutique, I wanted to buy an Overseas model and when I asked about discounts the sales person rolled his eyes upwards saying "this is Vacheron we don't do discounts".

Both times I was dressed in a plain white t-shirt and shorts. In the first instance I was wearing a Tag Huer and in the second instance I had just given my Panerai for a change of strap on the floor below and was without a watch.

I would also like to point out that a few months later when I went to the Vacheron boutique wearing a daydate the sales people were very pleasant and were offering water and tea.

So i guess they do try to size you up by seeing what watch/clothes/shoes you are wearing or what bag and jewelry the wife is.

for some reason... in general SAs think that customers will only buy a watch of the same level (or lower) they are wearing... they don't seem to believe their customers can upgrade...

went to a watch shop in Gardens asking about PAM, didn't show me anything, just said they have stock for every single model, i asked about the 000, she said the waiting list is 1 year long... :HammerHead:

she then spotted my Aquaracer and brought be to the Tag section...
after that to the Omega section... and showed me the Aquaterra :Blue:
