Is it a direct fit?

Rolex sells this part separately?

Will the purist accept it?.

I mean different year model with different folder.

But I believe, most important is - it makes you smile...

my 2 cents

I am almost a recovered watchaholic, but last checked shows only 70% recovered. How?

No purist will not accept it. But that is not important. What is important is what makes you happy. If course if you intend to sell the watch in the future, it is best you keep the old clasp.

OK... tu make a long story short.... I was one of those buying replicas before going for preowned authentic Rolex (to get the feel first ma...).

Just to experiment... I took the fliplock from the 'replica' and put it on my 'original' and it fits....

Still keeping the old flip lock and may changed back if MWF doesn't approve....

.

When I first saw the flip lock folder, the first thing that comes into my mind ...is the replica / fake flip lock (Poor finishing and rough edges) but I could be wrong. Now that you confirmed it......

The quality of material of the fake folder will definitely not doing justice to the original bracelet
