There it is!! The Patek with Jubilee... what a mod...
Just curious why and does it not wear more comfortably on a thin supple croc strap?

I always wear this Patek quite often.
I tend to perspired quite a bit too,as you know sweat and leather don't get along well.
And I happen to have a spare jubilee bracelet so I went to the gold smith, ask them to do some modifications to the bracelet and...there it is.
Actually it wears much more comfortably than the original strap.

Wow! I never thought that I would feel emotional about an inanimate object but right now, I am feeling so sorry for the Patek.

Don't be mistaken, I am not sorry for you, I am sorry for the watch.  Antoni Patek and Adrien Philippe must be turning in their grave.

Yikkie,No No,I perfectly know what you're trying to say...that I mess up a world renowed Patek Phillipe Watch.
But you don't seem to understand what I'm trying to tell you.
Let me try again.
It's MY Watch and I can do ANYTHING I WANT as long as I like it,cos I'm the one wearing it.
So it's not for you to say I mess up MY WATCH.
By say that you're sorry for MY WATCH and that Antoni Patek and Adrien Phillipe must be turning in their grave shows that you don't have any respect for other people likes.
Show a little maturity in you comments.
If you don't like the design, just say you don't like it.
But you don't have to be sarcastic in your comments.
You mean to say you know every design of Patek Phillippe that warrants you to say that the bracelet doesn't go well with this patek.
Tell me how many Patek do you have.?????

I am real sorry that I can't help feeling sorry for the watch.  Can't blame a guy for having feelings right?  It is your watch, you could do whatever you want with it but I genuinely can't help myself from feeling sorry for a beautiful watch ruined with such a ghastly combination with the Jubilee strap.  It is like how I always feel sorry for a beautiful car ruined by unsightly mods or decals.  I hope you do realize that you are posting on a forum and asking questions like "Tell me how many Patek you have" with the many ? marks is just plain silly and not to mention arrogant as a challenge.  I do hope that you realize that you don't need to own something to tell that it is of bad taste.  If you can't take criticism, maybe you should not post on a forum.

Chill out guys...Both of u have been bashing each other from the previous thread & now it escalates into this thread..& judging from this it seems unlikely it will stop here & now..Meaning that it definitely will not end well..Without taking sides I sincerely hope that both of u can stop whatever "bad blood" both of u feel towards each other..Funny how different sets of opinion can escalates into this..While there might be different opinions & preference here & there forummers always take it on our stride..Don't get too personal guys..No need to become too sarcastic, cynism or arrogance whatever you call it to the point that we might regret in the future only because we disagree with a certain things..& to win pointless argument..After all, we are all here for our love of horology..Peace bros..

Yeah... That's the problem with the heat and humidity of the Malaysian weather... leather straps is not a good option.
But that Patek suits better in a black tie event... nicely air conditioned... hehehe
