david..
any reason you chose the SBGR081 over the SBGW047?

Looks like 4-3 score..
Euclid, Tyler, Fong & myself on the 047,
Euclid, Takashi and you on the 081 (corrected subsequently)

Wow David... :o....another SBGR081. At this rate, soon 90% of all the SBGR081 will be owned by our members and there'll be not thing left for the Japanese. BANZAIIIIIIIIII............ :D

ya suppose to get 047 instead of 081, one of reason should be the size, still prefer something bigger, no doubt i love to have a handwind from GS but i'm still a person who love to have see thru back to enjoy looking at the movement  ;D

suppose to go for black but find it have similar DNA compare to my GS diver with gold GS and gold hand, hence go for white face blue have for the "standard" of being formal/dressy watch

as usual, dun wear the bracelet, instead i put in my Seiko Laurel alike shiny leather strap with deployment bucket in 20mm to fit, the watch is 19mm but since the leather is soft so it fit quite well without any struggling, perfect look and at least looks a bit like 047 with blue handed  ;D

Was at my usual grey dealer yesterday and he told me to come try this one out today...

Looks like too big for my 6.5" wrist but actually the rubber gives a really good fit although there's still some gap at the lugs.

The amazing dial.. in my opinion, even better than the 42mm panda version.

Comparison between the 42mm and 44mm

Now the torture and deliberation begins....  ::)

The dilemma...

The tang buckle is a real negative for me. That's the only downside other than the asking price  :-\

I'm looking forward to taking pics of 4 SBDB008s in a row... :Dancing_banana:

wahhhhhhh u terror man.......

PM me where and how much you got it for..and also what made you get it? Can't be poisoned just becoz of the pictures...

wow from August to-date, we have 4 SBDB008 owners in MWF..... maybe even more, if there are some quiet members not sharing...
not bad.. of 300 worldwide, 200 in Japan and only 100 out of Japan we have 4 in MWF...

MWF members also have quite a number of the Limited Edition SBGR081 and SBGW047 ....

Ppl say the economy is expected to slow down but I still see MWF members ramping up their acquisitions..... what gives, man
