New Orange Monster with the 4R36 movement (cheap, hackable and hand-windable).



In the dark, note triangle indices and the brightness.



and the old Black monster with 7s36. Square shaped indices.



Both pics taken in the same dark room with the iPhone 4s.
The lume on the new Orange monster is brighter.

For comparison, the Omega Ploprof gives Seiko a good competition on the lume front.

A Seiko with an enamel dial for today ..... though must admit that I have wondered why the date apereture looks like it has been punched through? Sifus?
