Hey Shark, as a Star Wars fan, I've got to say that that's very nice!

Is it available in any store in Malaysia and what's the retail?

Thanks.

Thanks. Those 70s and 80s kids most likely like Star Wars regardless they are fans or not.
I bought directly from a Japanese dealer in Japan and have it mailed to MY. Retail is approx ¥136000

hi Lim,

nice dial and rotor...
Noticed its a 6R21, hacking and hand windable calibre.
Wonder if the calibre has been tuned and hence its accuracy rate.
For that amount of money, would be painful if it was running +25 secs/day.
Is it PVD or DLC? Is the finishing scratchproof ?

I have a Naoki Sakai Limited Ananta with the same finishing. Till today I don't know if its PVD and not DLC. Googled but no specs only mention its Seiko's proprietory finish.

Thanks. Those 70s and 80s kids most likely like Star Wars regardless they are fans or not.

Personal taste and preferences evolve over years, hopefully not 1 full circle otherwise it means we haven't learnt a single thing.

Yes it is a 6R21. They might have tuned it for better performance because it is sold under Brightz range. As for the +25s/day, i believe it is a general benchmark for 6R series because the deviation for this watch is -2 ~ +1s / day for a few days now. I will check again in a few months time to see if the deviation deteriorates or maintains at current rate.

I have no idea, here, whether it is PVD or DLC. I suspect it is the lesser one, PVD. I own another Seiko with PVD. It has some resistance to scratch but the color on the bracelet faded. I hope my Stromtrooper has better scratch resistance and the color don't fade.
