yeah clarks brogue desert trekkers

the specs are vintage frames from a very old spec shop. love going through old spec shops wherever I go to look for vintage frames.

vintage frames are far better made at the same price point than modern frames IMHO

Some of Wempe's Zeitmeister series are with Nomos calibres but unfortunately not the Aviator series. The size of the calibres would not be sufficient enough to drive the long hands.

The Aviator series are powered with the "oversized" 7750; ETA Valgranges calibres. There was a beautiful silver cased B-UHr issued before by Wempe under Chronoswiss.

I bought mine in Wempe Munich last Xmas of '10 for around 1.4k euro before 19% VAT rebate. Last I check it went up b 400 euros. Think you can only get it through their stores or I may be wrong. You can always write to them to enquire.

Last weekend when I was going through the fortnightly routine of cleaning and winding up those watches in the watch box, I realised that I'd not been doing justice to some pieces which have not been worn for some time.
Hence I decided that I should wear each of them at least once a month...

its this guy's turn today..
