Hahahahahaha I don't mind giving the watch as a prize for the 2nd Anniversary, if I had another. Currently I only have this one. I have assembled about 9 watches (all different) and have given away all (to close friends and relatives) but 3 pieces. This one, the left hand Aviator watch and the cali homage. It is getting more and more difficult to get ETA/ Unitas movement, so there is a slowdown. I am working with another collector to make a homage 5517 milsub (1 piece), but it is slow.

I am wearing this homage today. It is powered by the Unitas 6497 movement with modifications to the sub-second hand. I replaced the 4th wheel with a shorter pin instead of clipping it off.

On a more serious note-respect,bro. Don't think many of us can assemble their own.

I am still learning. It also helps that you have a good watch repair guy around the corner from you.  ;D

I thought I was the one who's eligible for Hobbit's generosity since I asked him the question?

Self assemble Frankenwatch. Ceramic bezel with snowflake hands.

I like this. Looks a bit like the Rolex Submariner that's on my desktop wallpaper :D

Scott,

I am not based in Malaysia hence I will not be attending the 2nd Anniversary.

Manburg,

Hahaha I don't have extra watch to give away. Apologies.

Still enjoying my time with this baby. Have yet to leave my wrist since I got it last week. By far my most comfortable watch so far :)

Ironically it's still not my smallest watch. that honour belongs to the the Dunhill quartz that my father gave me.

That thing needs ton of repairs...new movement, crown, strap and buckle.... god knows how much it'll cost me after that

now i know why those hard as nails explorers wear Rolexes... it's light, comfortable and totally "bashable" and "forgetable" on the wrist. Dunno if i can say the same for modern Rolexes.
