seiko spring drive diver 600m
« on: June 27, 2011, 09:39:40 AM »
a quick one

the 600 m cons
spring drive can only be service in japan
thick watch , cannot go under normal shirt cuff,
not good for desk diving, keep banging into stuff cause of thickness
as light as mm300 due to TI but still cannot wear for whole day for desk diving compare to the mm300, not as comfortable

mm300 cons
not sapphire crystal (this need to be purchase separately)

from the internet
changing the mm300 crystal

the mm300 still a winner, for a desk diver

will update again later

Wow, the second is like a samurai sword

Yeah, we should have a GTG with the theme "Seiko watches" only, in conjunction with 130th Seiko  ;D

600m looks more macho, I remember you are the diver right, so have you tested the depth?

Wah!! the service cost that high? I own a SNR015 spring drive and already 4 years and approaching 5 year. Thinking want to send back to Thong Sia to be serviced. If cost around RM2.5 K plus. I think I would wait a little bit longer. What is your plan on your 600mm spring drive service then? Thanks

Any Spring Drive owner has done any scheduled maintainance? Can share your experience? Thanks

Just search through the net and found out member from WUS service their spring drive watch for USD 400
