I have one unit too.
My monster has accompanied me to the some water activities with some rough handling on many occasions

BTW, I noticed that my monster dial is more pale (less orange) than that of others.
I have read somewhere that the dial/s are of different manufacturer at one time..no?

Anyone care to share?

dc
I am almost a recovered watchaholic, but last checked shows only 70% recovered. How?

dc,

I won't be able to tell why, if any. But if you ask Hobbit, he might have said that different orchards produce different oranges. :D

Does the orange also glow in the dark, or only the twist of lemon? ;)

I'm not a man of many words, as picture speaks louder than 1000 words. ;D

From my understanding the dials were made by Seiko at the same factory (unconfirmed). However the believe is that there were pigment issues with some batches of the OM between the early batches and the later batches. The dial is painted orange. But some people say that the dial colour is the same, it is the chapter ring that is different. So the orange on the dial did not match the orange of the chapter ring. I have checked mine and they are the same. Oh well it is one of the thing we will never know.
