Not really true. Many brands still do make quartz watches, PP and Omega for example. For that matter Breitling are very proud of their quartz watches. Seiko quartz diver watches are still the rage. Lets not forget Casio with their G-Shock watches, which can take punishment that no automatic or manual watch can survive.

Go for the Citizen with their Eco-Drive system or Casio G-Shock with their Tough Solar Technology.

In my case, I'd have to say that as long as the GF likes it, even if I hate it, then it's a good buy! :P

As long as your girlfren is happy, you have made it a day, some bought the watch with 20% discount from the AD, the same watch one can get at 28% discount. So if you have bought the watch, just enjoy it, comparing the discount will make you feel :Blue:

But, if you can write a watch review of your new acquired, that is more meaningful.. At least all of us will be pleased  :Laughing_on_floor:

Bro, writing a review not necessary need good photo, you can just use the mobile phone to capture some pictures, and the wording can be rojak too, campur bahasa, Cina, English, tak ada masalah...asalkan you are the writer. In any case, this is MWF, anak malaysia semua boleh baca ma, if foreigner, too bad lo, they have to use the google translator  :Laughing_on_floor:

If yr wrist is small, then you can buy those watch with strap, as you can resize, Big watch can show some macho ma, people look at you also dare not kacau you, protection  ;D

My friends is a watchmaker for Swiss Group, He says that Mido movement are the same as Tag entry models. I think alot of models under the swatch group uses Mido, so interms of movement Mido doesnt lack, the only thing it lacked is probably its brand, which is what ur paying for :)

Mido uses ETA movement, which 90% of watchmakers are using.
And by the way, ETA is belongs to Swatch Group.
