Survey of Diver vs Aviator!
« on: May 19, 2011, 11:50:10 AM »
Hi guys,

As we know, not only pilots wear an aviator watch and those who dives buy diver watches. For styling and personal preference, which style do u guys prefer? And also, state the brands that you like or own for these two categories.

I prefer Diver... and below are my preferred models (not according to rank)
1. AP Roo Diver 2010 model
2. Most PAM models
3. Rolex Subc

Picking up my 1st Aviator from Hush soon.
No preference as long as the dial is not too cluttered.

I m into Diver's! As i am a diver myself! For me..aviator seems to have a little too much of indication on it! And in most of time, making them looks complicated!

I love both diver and aviator style but somehow i got more diver watchers than pilot's. The ratio is  5 : 1 :)

It is perhaps pilot-style watches are about the same, it has limited designs or Rolex dun make them, just kidding.. hmmm i dun see air-king as pilot watch.. :)

Don't have much preference but I do admit I have more divers than aviators if I take account of my Seikos in the equation but minus that i have

For Air:
1. Wempe Zeitmeister Aviator
2. Sinn 857s

For Land:
1. Tudor Prince Chrono

For Sea:
1. Panerai 112
2. Rolex 14060M

So it's pretty even I guess.

Furthermore i'dont really care about the "toughness" of a diver's watch because the only thing I dive for is muff  :Laughing_on_floor:

I think even the watches' style in the market is leaning more towards the divers.

I think Divers watch have better built interms of durability as some people actually take their watch down for diving as compare to aviator. In addition, they have better readings in the dark. Therefore, DIVER!!

May be only better reading in the water not on the ground
