I think the hands issue where everyone is "complaining" about is a good thing.
My thinking is Rolex had many stock left so just use it on this version first.
When a new series or new batch comes out, it will be longer?
Then Danny would have a "rare" batch hahaha...

I don't believe the answer is as simple as "using up all the old stock"

I am no expert but maybe 3130 us not meant to use any longer hands than the one that is current on EXP1 and 14060M without compromising the smoothness of the sweep?

Rolex is after all a stickler for uniformity. unless they supersize the movement too like the new EXP2, i don't think they will replace the hands.

3132. a upgraded 3130 with the parachom, hence "new" model number

Hi Terrence,
I meant to ask about the size of the new calibre 3187 which ticks inside the new EXP2. Does anyone know the physical size of this new movement?

not sure about the overall size of the movement but heard the base plate is larger so it's proprietary to the new case only

Wow.... Really a nice watch bro. Love the black dial. Wear in good health bro. Guess this piece will be your most worn watch at least for the next few weeks huh. Enjoy.

Hi Terrence,
Thanks for the update. I'm glad to know that Rolex is finally moving to larger size calibers.

Hi Danny,

Congrats. Nice watch. Tried it on my wrist in Jakarta last week. Pretty piece indeed. Mind PM me how much you got it for and from which AD ?

New Exp II looks good as well. Anyone has any idea of the price range?

I believe that the retail price for the new EXP II should be very similar to the GMT IIC, ie slightly above 23K RM, provided that there's no price increase by Rolex between now and 4th quarter of this year. However as is the case for all newly launched Rolex sports model we have to be prepared to pay a stiff premium for the privilege of being the first one in the neighbourhood to wear the watch.

Wow. That's unfortunate but understable due to its larger case and new movement.

Hi there Danny, great watch and one that I am eyeing when I return in a few weeks.

If it's in KL can PM me like the other few earlier, roughly how much and which AD?

Thanks heaps and really envy such a superb purchase :)
