5th installment

An Omega Speedmaster Professional Mark II

I placed in on a Watchadoo bracelet as the OEM
already has a lot of stretch.

The caseback was also temporary changed to
allow me to oggle at the fabulous 861 movement :o

meoramri, can you please tell me where or how do you get the leather belts to fix onto the Rolex Datejust. I have a 1990/91 Datejust myself, and love to exchange the TT bracelet with leather straps. Thanks.

Hi there khanwooi.

Yes a lot of them are scratched but I prefer to keep them
that way. I actually bought some polywatch, thinking about
polishing the mineral crystal, but the scratches, and dings
in the cases, I think, actually give the watches some character and
every ding has its own story to tell ;)

I actually have a number of vintage watches in my plethora still,
and kept them in their original, non polished although a bit
battered state. :P

Honestly, mine came with the strap without the ss bracelet. I guess any good leather strap shops should be able to advise.

Saw one of these go for USD1800 on another forum. Wow! Expensive.

Here's mine from the early seventies.

That is a smashing looking 6105 diver. Does the crown still lock as it should? If yours is from the early 70's (that is, before 1975) I guess the case back should still have the "horse-shoe". Great piece, do wear in good health!!!

I would guess 4 digit reference would be considered vintage and anything more is modern?
