Double German babe!!!

As some of you already know.
I recently got myself a U1 SDR and due to my own stupidity, I cut the rubber strap a little too short.
So I ordered a replcement strap for the U1 SDR and wore it on Bond Nato while waiting for the strap... Looks good I might add.



Then I was actually in the market for a Planet Ocean.
ChrisC has one up for sale and I immediately contacted him to know the best price.
He gave me a good deal but unfortunately, my other half have been making quite alot of noise with my recent purchases so I promised to take them to a holiday end of this year during school holiday...
Initially, the plan was to go to HK (with the money spent, bye bye PO).... but then I managed to convince my wife that a trip to Singapore would be a better option. She slept on it for 2 nights and when she finally agreed... the PO was long gone... 
Now what can I get with the money?
Was eyeing a Damasko but could not make up my mind on which model.
Eventually I went for the DC67 as I wanted a Lume Dial watch (my first lume dial)
And it reached me the same day as my Sinn replacement straps...

This is the Damasko with the OEM strap...

Solid buckle...


I was asking around at WUS and found out that the Sinn rubber actually fits perfect on the Damasko...
So I put it on...


Fits like a glove...




But I found out the Sinn rubber had better stayed with the U1 and I put the Bond Nato on the Damasko...
I found out it feels better... maybe just my itchy butt acting up...lol


The 2 of them together...





What can I say... both watches are toolish...
The feel when strapping on any of them give you the feeling of invincibility...
If a Speedy can survive the moon... my personal opinion is that these two can survive a trip Mars.... and back!!
No disrespect to Speedy...
I would not hesitate to recommend these 2 watches to anyone.
My verdict is slightly towards the Damasko... feels good on my wrist.'Hope you guys enjoyed the pictures

Have to say congrats on the 2 Germans. I like the watches. I was looking forward to seeing the Damasko in KL on my last visit but it was not to be. In saying that the lugs looks thin as compared to the Sinn. It is because it is longer or my imagination?

The lugs look thinner but they are actually the same length hence the perfect fit of the Sinn rubber strap.
Now I'm guessing for the whole aesthetic look, the thinner lugs suit the Damasko better because it is a smaller case 42mm vs 44mm and thinner as well 13.7mm vs 14.35mm and lighter (these are all manafacturer's numbers)
That is why I have come to the conclusion that eventhough the Sinn rubber fits the Damasko like a glove, a better option would be the Nato for a more balanced look.
To steal a quote I read on WUS:
1mm is a big difference, 2mm is a HUGE difference!!! lol
This is all of course purely my own opinion.
