Toy Watch, anyone bought before
« on: April 05, 2011, 01:34:44 PM »
Hi, just wonder about this Toywatch, I passed by the other day at Mid Valley, saw this ToyWatch shop, most of the watches are blink blink...So, wonder anyone bought this watch before? Mind to share??/

To me its just a brand who their entire line is copied almost 100% from other famous models.
Then they produce with plastic case or cheaper material.
For someone who into fashion watches its a good choice.
For me? Its just a copycat, and for the price i would go for a Swatch cheap cheap, at least they come up with original ideas.

I think I saw the price tag of RM1,000+ onwards with absolutely no resale value or whatsoever.

Perhaps they cater to the ill informed public since a lot of celebrities used to wear them as their disposable watch. Among them are people like Paris Hilton, Kanye West etc. But I don't think they are wearing Toy Watches anymore. The fad is almost 3 years old or something.

I used to had a wide collection of swatch when Im still in my younger age. and I still had my collection on their Millennium Edition.

Well, as for me,instead of toy watch..i rather go for some other homage watch! Like the Marina Militare. Nt a replica! With it's own style...very much inspired by panerai! Cheers!

Have a friend who swears by his Toy Watch. He loves the watch and brand no end. And this from a guy whose collection puts mine to shame (like a bunch of Panerai whose model numbers does not start with PAM). I have seen the watch and have handled it. Have to say that it is a tad on the expensive side for what it is.

The first time I saw toywatch in Hongkong around 3-4 years ago, the SA admits that it was a Made in China watch branded in USA. It was retailing for HKG2k to 5k but I can find it the similar watch without the toywatch logo in Shenzhen for RM50.

I strongly believe toy watch margin is many times better than a rolex
