Thanks for the encouraging words guys. I actually had great difficulty selecting between my PAM 111 and 312 or 359. To cut the long story short, no matter how I looked at it, the PAM 111 sat better on my skinny wrist compared to the 1950s case although I still think the 1950s case is stunning! Will probably consider one when I put on a few more pounds.

I thought I'd just share this info with you guys cos I'm pretty amazed with the power reserve of my new PAM111. I clocked approx 60hrs 30mins. It was fully wound when I bought it and only stopped this morning at about 6am. That's basically almost 5hrs more than claimed!   ;D

The power reserve for this watch is 56 hrs as specified in a 6497 calibre. So anything above is great :)

bigkahuna,

Don't want to burst your bubble but my PAM00111 did 61 hours when I first got it. Does not do that now.  :( It will settle down in a few weeks time.

Hi Sid, thanks for the compliment on my PAM. It definitely is a lovely piece and I'm enjoying every moment of it especially in the pool ever since I got the waterproof Kodiak straps to go with it. However, for some weird reason, my thirst hasn't been quench as I have recently been very tempted by a particular Rolex myself. I've been fondling a DSSD recently in my friendly neighborhood Rolex AD and wonder why when I only just purchased my PAM not too long ago. Oh, and btw, I've PMed you. Hopefully I've answered your questions.

Hi Bro,

I know how it feels. As you know I got my PAM only a week a two before you and I'm already started searching around for my 2nd PAM. Was contemplating either a Radiomir (183) or the 1950 case (312). This is seriously a disease hard to cure. Only thing holding me back is fearing my wife will get angry and she is due for our 2nd baby soon. More money needed for milk powder and diaper!!! Have to be a little careful with my spending now.

Back to your question PAM359 and Omega PO. I personally think that PAM will be a better choice. Mainly due to its resale value. Omega have been losing followers in Msia. PAM to go!!

Well Eric, don't need to crack your head too hard on how to appease the Mrs. Father's day coming this weekend. You can use it as an excuse to reward yourself for being such a wonderful dad and also for the double effort that is coming soon of taking care of your new baby   ;D

Btw, Horous, I went with the PAM a couple of months back. Not the 359 but a PAM nevertheless. Thanks for your feedback though.

I have developed a sudden interest in the Omega PO Liquidmetal LE 42mm (yup the one with the 2500 movement).  :Dancing_banana:

Did a forum search and this thread came up.

Would anyone know if any AD still have this model?  :Praying:

Keeping home minister happy is most critical. Better still, poison your home minister so that she will understand and support your decision.

Anyway, pam is an unique experience and seems the heat of big pam will still last for quite a while. I skipped Omega for Pam and have never look back.
