Germany 1 : Switzerland 0
« on: March 22, 2011, 09:56:15 PM »
Just got this so sharing my joy with all the bros here...

The Grand Langematik is a bigger version than the current model of 37.5mm.  It measures 40mm (size of a sporty rolex sub), classic, extremely beautiful finishing/workmanship and it’s automatic!!!

Cheers

James

Congrats James! ;D

Lange doesnt have too many auto models as i can remember, the rotor is really a work of art!

The button at 11 is to reset the sec hands to zero or date?

Yes bro, they've very few automatic models around...the pusher is for the date. When one adjusts the time, the second hand automatically resets to zero...

Thanks Danny! I'm actually looking at FP Journe Octa Reserve next....have to really save up.. :Praying:

Wow you really moving up and up eh James thats great!

I guess FPJ is one of the few great independents that you can still buy "production" models from.
Dufour is sold out right?
Vianney is another one to look at but then i seen stories of servicing cost going to the high euro 4 figures!

vianney watches are a tad too small although the design is unique..i've not really looked at Dufour (thanks for pointing it out to me)....

De Bethune, FPJ and Richard Mille are watches i'm looking at now....researching and enjoying the journey if i can eventually land them in my modest collection... :Praying:

Just read on other forum that ALS just raised their prices April 1st.
Looks like you bought just in time.
