It is said that Credor watches were originally not sold outside Japan because the brand believed such masterpieces should be reserved for the Japanese people; this is why finding a Credor watch elsewhere is extremely difficult. GS is more commercialized, with higher production volumes to meet market demand. Some say GS relies on two key "weapons" to capture the market: its finishing techniques and the Spring Drive movement. Credor, however, excels in all-encompassing craftsmanship, with meticulous attention to detail applied to everything from the hands to the clasp. In terms of practicality, GS is perhaps more suitable, as highly intricate items generally require more careful handling. However, if you appreciate fine craftsmanship and exquisite detail, Credor will certainly not disappoint you. Finally, regarding maintenance and repairs, both brands require the watch to be sent back to the headquarters in Japan, as the parts and polishing techniques are beyond the capabilities of typical independent watchmakers.
