Tudor Royal - Latest edition to Tudor family line

Tudor released its affordable new Royal line, which is have quit a lots variance of size (from 28 to 41mm) and colours too. The design did resembles oyster quartz Rolex..datejust and day date. The clean design for 38mm with blue sunburst is really nice. The movement, they back to Sellita movement which is fair with the price.

In my opinion the final finish on the Day-date style (41mm) did triggered my OCD. In a glance..it was a nice touch. but the "Day" column is in between the IX and I, and it cut thru the XI gonna triggered my OCD everyday when I wear it. Hahaha.

But that's only me..what did you guys say?

Looking at it, it is a fine collection to the Tudor line-up. It brings back the "Datejust" line to Tudor. Would I recommend it to a new collector? Yeah I would. It is a good everyday watch. Would I buy it? I don't think so as I have other pieces.

It looks like it utilizes an integrated bracelet system, which is a deal breaker for me. Size wise and looks is alright, movement is ok but i'd like to be able to mess around with different straps and bands.

Agreed. Love to see the addition to the Tudor family. I'm thinking to get myself the 38mm Blue Datejust version but seems hard to get the stock too. The Hour Glass and Cortina both don't have the stock currently. Maybe by next year.

Yes it's an integrated link style too.

Have to be honest and say that I really don't dig the design but it's all subjective of course.
Dislike the bezel, the chapter ring and the position of the date in the daydate. It should just be at 6 o'clock for better symmetry.

Manage to cop myself one of the 38mm (date only). Shocked of how long the waiting list in the hour glass, cortina and swiss watch. Cop mine from Watatime, consider myself a bit lucky. I think it pretty cool indeed.
