Ending My Square/Rectangle Watch Collection Journey
« on: July 15, 2020, 01:30:44 PM »
I ended my Citizen watch collection journey.

Now , it's time for ending my square/rectangle watch journey.

From the very first Tissot Heritage Quartz piece till the incoming Jaeger LeCoultre Reverso 46mmx27.5mm (which is also my second Reverso).

The total cost of getting and repairing them with completion of necessary original parts, already costed me RM 93k unknowingly.

Many couldn't understand why I spent so much on all these small dressy squarish watches, and their pathetic water resistance could possibly cost a bomb to me if not placing enough the dehumidifiers around them. Neither do I.

But one thing I know and ascertain for sure is, they make me happy. :Dancing_banana:

I will post their photos later. Stay tune.

My half finished dehumidifier stock.

Seriously, I even prepared to get a basic non-wet water proofing test (the cheapest version is about MYR 5k, but too bad those overseas sellers neither replying my message nor having available trustworthy online payment.

Can you explain the need to store the watches with silica gel? Is it for the movement or straps?

It's for the movement protection.

I heed Meoramri bro advice.
