Valentine's Day Suggestions...
« on: January 24, 2011, 08:33:52 AM »
As all of you already know, Valentine's Day (Con excuse for raising prices of roses) is drawing close.
Time to shop for a nice present for my other half and what better than a watch?
Looking for swiss automatic with open heart.
Currently on found 2, a Tissot Valentine's Day special?
http://www.tissot.ch/?mod_news
No price yet for the Tissot.
And an Epos Automatic Lady Collection Ref.43140H should be around 3k before discount.
Need a few more choices.
Anyone? TIA

Does this topic expand to non-watch stuf too? though I admit the fact that it's under general discussion forum should mean it's watch-only, haha. I'm looking for discussions for Valentines day things to do too. I agree that it's the greatest con job in history and a wonderful excuse to raise the price of everything for a day, lol.

Looking for swiss automatic with open heart.

Frederique Constant has nice open heart watches and is available in quite a few local ADs. Not sure whether they hv ladies open heart models tho. IMHO also u need a bigger size dial (i.e. men's size) for open heart to fully appreciate the movement.

Hahaha... some nice suggestions there.
I dunno if Cxrtina Branch here in KK selling FC... gotta chk em out real soon.
My wife is not so much into spas or dinners... I sometimes cook dinner so nothing special there...
Spas cost a bomb with nothing to show for... a watch is still the best gift... in my opinion... hehehe
