:Jumping: Yea we are very grateful and we sure cherish our watches very much. However, not so lucky to get a watch each year, guess we just received one each to get us started in watch collecting. 21 now, gotta start saving up to buy the next one myself, but hopefully still get one or two more presents to help with the collection. I guess i'll start with an Omega for a first self-funded purchase, been eyeing the Planet Ocean 2201.50.00, definitely wouldn't mind a pre-owned.

@hanz will do mate. i'll keep that in mind. currently he's over poisoned by this watch and i don't think it'll happen for another 1 or 2 years. anyway used ones in complete set and like new condition should be considered since you save quite a fair bit. happy hunting for this one too

Don't have any recollection of watches at that age.

Bought my first one, a Citizen quartz, after working for some time in the jungles of Borneo. I needed something to tell when it was time to let the workers have lunch.

Seriously dude?

Some of the younger generation are so lucky these days... lots of pocket money, nice car to drive, and luxury watches! Happy for you guys.

When I was 16... I borrowed my brother's classy Rado... looked very good... but felt hurt when frens said it was fr Petaling St... ah well, the truth hurts
