What to get, opinions needed?
« on: January 04, 2011, 01:16:10 PM »
Hi all, am new to this forum so go easy with me.
am thinking of getting a BR 01-92 or the U-boat classico?
Which would you guys go for? in terms of value, brand heritage.

Also what else would you guys recommend in this price range?

thanks in advance

Between the 2, I would get the BR. But that is just my own personal opinion. Cheers.

With that price range?
I would get a Ball and call it a day. With some spare change.

IMHO Bell & Ross would be a better buy.

Have you considered a PAM base model or a pre-owned Rolex Sports model?

B&R for me. The suggestion for a pre-owned Rolex is a good one.

U boat classico for me is awsome..but i only like the 45mm diameter.the larger one is around 52mm,wich is too big for our asian wrist..the price is around RM5k ,wich is consider OK price compare to BR..

BR is a great watch (though i think it is slightly over-priced due to its design and fucntions)...so for me...U Boat wins

thanks you all for the response. looks like B&R has alot of fans.
am thinking twice abt it now, as i'm quite intrigued abt pre owned rolex and perhaps a PAM. Always been a dream tho.
Anyone knows of a good place to hunt for good pre owned rolex, PM me thanks

Between the two u mentioned? I would say B&R too...
But at that price point? I think alot have mentioned a pre-owned rolex... and you can lay low for awhile...  ;D
