its called NATO due to its military heritage.
it was a standard British military issue, and has NATO part number  ;)

what is the difference between nato and zulu strap aside from their thickness? Has anyone ever ordered from any reliable website? Mind to pm me if have info on the site?

TQ. had some time off and was within the area. they carry a limited selection of natos but at reasonable prices compared to what was discussed earlier. That day they only had 22mm black,military green and skunk(black/grey).

btw, anyone know about 18mm NATO's ? it usually come in the 20mm and 22mm
i saw it on a website  (18mm straps) and is wondering if i can get them here ?

get the 20mm NATO... it can still fit the 18mm lugs...... IMHO it looks nicer also...
