Shipping is normally quite safe... I hv plenty of gd experience, but to play safe, buy insurance
The custom some times give problem if the description is not clear or the case is leather made

but the thing not safe is the seller, get from famous seller
pay with protection, paypal!!!
Ask for reference... Cross check good n bad guy section

Shipping if you are the seller is really up to you (mostly) and the buyer. Does your selling price include shipping and what mode of shipping? Normal in brown envelope or EMS or FEDEX? If not, is the buyer willing to pay or pay extra?

As what Chrisyen said, buy the seller, in this case you are the seller. So it is up to you and your reputation, if buying and selling watches is your business. I limit my on-line purchases to reputable sellers and I do check references. I do Paypal and ask for EMS shipping (which is usually extra and I am willing to pay) and also ask for tracking. Additionally I do not buy anything on-line above a certain amount which I think is what I can afford to lose if the deal goes south.

Zenith El Primero Rainbow Flyback

Happened to me once. The reason being, seller didn't filled the forms needed properly
Yes, at the same exact location Chicago  As a result, my shipment was delayed for 1 week++

insisted the seller to do follow-ups, demanding explanations from USPS (email & calls), Custom Office asked the seller to declare actual value or they'll ship it back to seller at seller's expense. In the end everythhing was properly done and met. Luckily happy ending one. Hopefully the same ending for yours

p/s: as long as you 'buy the seller' everything will be sorted out with due care. Keep the faith bro  :Praying:

Seller has impeccable record so I am not worried.
He did contact USPS to get things sorted out and apologized for the delay.
In the end, as long as I got the watch... I am all good...

It is a smashing watch... one that does not appear often in mint condition.
Once I saw it for sale... there's no turning back.
My plan was to get a GMTIIc for CNY but due to the low bonus I got this year... I don't have that kind of money to spare...
The GMTIIc will have to wait...
As for the shipping delay... wait until neck oso long liao... lol

Bro Hanz, I feel your pain.
Was targeting to reward myself with my 1st. grail for Christmas pending closing a nice business deal - delayed.  :Scolding:
Postponed target date to CNY but no go.  :'(
Oh, the best laid plans of mice and men.........
Hopefully can give myself a nice birthday present in March.  :Praying:
Take care, Ciao!

I read that watches are tax free in M'sia .
But you still need to pay that 10% Sales tax , is it true ?

Kinda hard to under declare for watches , the prices are too transparent !

Order pre-owned watch online
For anything less than RM1k, i dont mind,
But high end branded pre-owned, we have to be extra carefull
As how do we certain parts in inside still original,
The risk of parts replacement are high, which we will know only once goods delivered to us and we sent for servicing were told part of it is fake!!
So decide and take the risk
