A true collector piece from AP. This is ultra thin Audemars Piguet 18k solid gold with caliber 2003. A legendary in-house caliber. This yellow-gold mid size dress watch from circa 1960's is not only elegant, but also historically significant, as it houses the legendary caliber 2003, a revolutionary movement for the time that was the thinnest of its kind on the history.
Caliber 2003 was developed by Audemars Piguet and Jaeger-LeCoultre (with some help from Vacheron Constantin) in 1953. It was based on the caliber 9ML, which measured only 1.64 mm thick of this movement and was in production until the years of 2002.This prove the robustness of this movement being used. Its a legendary robust,accurate movement. The Modern current Jules audemars ultra thin caliber 2120 is based on caliber 2003.
Adjusted to heat, cold , isochronism and 5 position. It make the time running accurate till today.(being tested)
