Newbie with New Watch(Seiko SRPB09K1)

Hello Folks,

On Occasion I have been lurking this forum ..guilty as charged !
Now because of the excitement on my new watch thought I would sign up.
I have lived abroad most my lifetime from pre-teen to mid-age, I came back 4 years ago after living 41 years abroad ...
I used to own a few Swiss brand watches but have sold them on.
It's not hard buying Swiss watches in London or EU, like Dog Shit (AD), there is one on every street corner ..lol
Ok that's enough about me!

Back to this Seiko Samurai.

I missed out on the original Seiko Samurai Titanium because I only got into appreciating Seiko's only 5 Years ago, maybe I was a certain Swiss brand Snob years ago !
I do own the Black Samurai which I bought on ebay whilst I was in UK, tried my hardest to find the Titanium Samurai back then but could not find any.
So I bought this watch today and so pleased with it, more so than the Seiko 'PADI' Turtle I bought last year.
I've read in other forums, others are not pleased because Seiko did not serialized the limited edition numbers..lol

Anyone else owns the new Samurai or the older Titanium Samurai ? Let's see them !

p.s  I also own the Blumo pre X on dial but much prefer the Blue colour on this SRPB09.

This blue lagoon samurai has been all the rage these days.

Even a friend of mine who has only started into appreciating "better" watches (as in swiss made) got hooked and got himself this very same model last week.

what is the watch accuracy like? I am always intrique by Seiko but I havent taken the plunge. Im only wearing my swatch at the moment hahahaha

hahahaha... My next target is the grand seiko. However if you look at the website, they mentioned they only guarantee the accuracy from +1 to 10 secs a day which is a little bit concerning for me.

The Samurai is definitely a macho looking watch. I'm looking forward to the 2017 release with black bezel and textured black dial. Wonder when it will be available in Malaysia?
