There are many other factors to be considered and not just the movement. For instance, IWC Mark XVII and XVIII also ETA movements but their price are more than RM10k...just my 2 cent..

Anything wrong with ETA? And, the value of the timepiece is subjective.

Ya...many other watch more than 15k also using ETA till now, nothing wrong with it. In house or ETA also have pro and cons itself. Sometimes people don't like eta but we can't deny ETA is providing reliable and hassle free maintain movement even watchmaker also said that. Somemore eta have different into many category like standard, elabore, cosc, top grade bla blah blah... don't look down on eta, many top brand using eta base modified and come out with many type of complication.
Other than ETA 2824 bit dislike  ;D the rest of ETA or InHouse all I love, nothing wrong with it.

For IWC purist, of all the Mark series the XVII with the triple date window is the one to avoid and for very good reason.

Please stay away from B&R unless you intend to wear it forever. Its tough to sell when you wanna upgrade. Be ready to take a 50% hit off what you paid for next time.

They changed bro ...
U didn't follow closely

This yr Basel Rolex discon all the 26mm ladies dj
They discon the 40mm SD
They discon the dj2

They redesign the air king last yr
They redesign the datejust 41

They redesign the Daytona steel last yr
They introduced more rubber strap Daytona this yr
Last time Rolex like others all strap
Then almost all bracelet
Then introduce strap for the dressy gold cases watch
Now they too introduce rubber strap for sporty watches started with Yatchmaster rose 2 yrs ago

Look at first gen of milgauss and current milgauss.

Look at Cellini design ... from round to rectangle to round with double bezel ...

for 15k i wouldnt buy a bell & ross as well.

for that 15k if i top up a bit more I can get myself a grand seiko or an omega. Bell & Ross dont hold a good resale value better.

If I wanna go for a bell & ross i would rather go for a Bremont.

Bell & Ross is growing super fast last few years

In fact it's best selling watches are below rm15k

BR03-92 is their best selling product
It's retail ard 15k 16k
On steel or Matt black ceramic case

The nett discounted price are ard 11-13k

It's still a very good very for ceramic case Swiss made watches

The pre owned value holding well so far

Plus this

The top 3 best seller for entire bell & ross range of watches

All these 3 are nett below rm15k

Personally I don't hv any of all these best seller BR
Only once I had the BR0392 heritage
With Matt black ceramic case

I got it at huge discount
And sold it after few mths at no loss
Watch only worn couple of times on another strap so sell easily as complete like new condition
