Local AD discounts for different brands?
« on: December 28, 2016, 11:27:20 PM »
Hi guys, I know there are some standard discounts for different brands by AD?

Omega 5-10%
Some Rolex (not all) 5-10%
Maurice Lacroix 25%
Grand Seiko 15% (heard Thailand 25%)

Please correct me if I'm wrong and kindly share more info.

Rolex sport models are usually no discount.
The rest of the brands should  be higher.

To get better deal best to strike a good relationship with one particular (good) AD. He/she will be more inclined to even share a bit of his/her commission with your purchase. I suggest you find an AD that stocks multiple brands so that you won't be limited to just one brand.

P.s. Even stocks that officially have no discounts can be gotten with at least some price reduction.

This is the unfortunate truth. Nothing comes for free. For an AD to give you special discount, he/she must truly believe that you are a habitual transactor and not a one-off sale.

Sorry, maybe some misinterpreted in my 1st post.
Actually what I'm interested to find out is the standard discounts of the different name (watch brands) by the local AD

Actually the discounts I got in my 1st post was quote by my non regular ADs in Klang Valley. I think that's the standard discounts AD will give for the particular brand maybe? Of course, if you're their regular VIP I'm sure they will more than happy to serve you better
