A Visit to AP Boutique = My First AP

I had a great time at the AP boutique yesterday, wonderful experience ogling over a few pieces before deciding my very first AP.

Thanks to all who responded to my previous thread here http://www.malaysiawatchforum.com/index.php?topic=17479.0 , especially to brother Khairain for the hook-up.  :thumbsup:

I had contemplated on getting an AP in my upcoming trip to London next week but upon further consideration I’ve decided to just get one at home especially since I was dead set on getting a blue dial.
Also the 5 years warranty is a bonus, an added peace of mind.

Purchasing my first but already decided that the either the Navy Blue or the Safari is going to be my next!

RO Blue vs ROC Blue




You just have to see the blue dial in person to really appreciate the color and how it reflects under different lighting

It really is beautiful. And the weight of gold, my oh my….




I’m really not a YG/RG guy. All these years, I never could see myself wearing a Rolex YG/RG but for this one I would definitely make an exception (if I can afford one in the future, that is!  :laugh:)

15400 vs 116520

Both are modern sporty dress watches, wear differently but 15400 definitely has the edge with stronger wrist presence, IMHO

Congrats on your new acquisition. I would have gotten that exact same watch too. Now you have an important part of horology history on your wrist. A classic piece by Gerald Genta! Wear it in good health.
