I think Rolex is doing big margins on their watches, like many other big Swiss watch brands. But they deserve it

The problem is not with rolex's margin. It's about markup by AD.

The fuel or trigger that make the ADs confident about jacking up the price could be the 'waiting list' itself. The longer the list implies high 'perceived' demand. Solution, get out of any list your are on now/don't bother signing up to any.

Buy nowadays market is global !
Malaysia is a small market compare to global
Few countries controlling the actual market price for most watches
HK, Taiwan, spore, US...

Few Msia big Watch shops are branch from spore
Grey was started by HK

While we are here complaining about the premiums, ppl who can get it at rrp sell it at premium pula... If a flipper is gonna make that premium, why not AD?

Yep sounds pointless if that is the case. don't have to wait to pay premium.

I think its not that hard to get at list price. just place ur order overseas, put deposit and wait.

That's how I had my Daytona and nautilus.

Only thing is have to wait.

5711 the wait was almost a year if I recalled correctly. the deposit was 15k ringgit.
