If it is a seconds hand for the chronograph, perhaps that hands is loose and need to tighten or replace. My own tips, always reset the chronograph only when the chronograph seconds hand at 45s ++ .
Hi Spacewalker,
Thanks for the tips.
But may I know why would you recommend to reset the second hand at 45s++
I had experienced this before with an automatic chronograph. I run the chronograph even know the reset problem for about a minute, then the chrono minute hand jump after one minute. That means that seconds hand got loose. Not a serious mechanism problem. Then I read somewhere but forgot where is it and it is make sense imo , since the chronograph seconds hand will move very fast when you resetting it, etc you resetting while that hand at 15s, it will have a full speed while swing to the 0s compare it from the 45s. It is just my observation not from a watchmaker expert

. There is also a chronograph pusher problem can lead to this. Some service centre also replace the hand after service, might the hand pivot got loose after sometime.
For the quartz chronograph movement, that situation always happen when you change the battery and it is easy to fix compare to automatica chronograph movement.
