Watch for Machine Operators

Dear All,

We would like to reward some exemplary machine operators in our factory for good performance.

These are ordinary people which probably are not into watches. We want something that they can remember thus a watch.

What can you suggest for a budget of 7k? Will they appreciate a sports watch or a dress watch?

Any advice will be appreciated.

I would imagine that a casual sports watch may be better suited in a relatively rougher production floor. You would probably be looking at watches with some anti-shock capabilities too, assuming that your operators were going to wear your gift watches while operating the machineries. I think that Ball would fit the requirements to a tee, specifically the Engineer series. Those tritium tubes would make reading the time easier in the dark or amber light.

It depends what industry you are in. I know some industry prohibit operator wearing watches in certain production sections.
