There is an Oris exhibition happening on the 9th this month at Hang Thai Atria Mall. I am sure some of their model will be on sale.

I agree. I don't even bother to walk into this shop. They look at you from top to bottom before giving any service. Asking for discounts and they look at you like beggar. They even make sarcastic comment and give no good advise whatsoever. Their staff only interested in money and don't know their watches. No time for this kinda arrogant people. I hope they will learn their lesson one day.

As mentioned by some of you, they are really driven by money. hahaha.

However, I would said MOST of them are arrogant. I visited the shop 3 times before I purchase my 1st watch there. Upon 3 visitation with 3 different sales person, the last 1 was indeed slightly friendly than the others. She was the one I bought my watch from and, since then, I deal directly with her only.
My second purchase was treated much better where she show me the watch and etc.

There are 2 things that I do not like about this shop:
1) The movement and mechanism watch is not thoroughly check and fix when the sell the watch. But they are professional enough to take back the watch and service. My first watch was a nightmare where the power reserve was very bad. I have to visit 3 times to get it rectify
2) The sales people do not really know the watch and the previous owner information. You need physical examine watch thoroughly. The Sales people are really there to just sell the watch by giving you a price. Getting more information of the watch is a waste of time.

Overall, I would still buy from there as they really sell preown watch at a really GOOD price (a very significant factor when I buy a watch).

P/S: As for the mr. Simon I have yet to meet him (apparently, he is the Boss and owner of the shop [I Think]). Spoken to him on the phone once though because he wanted to ask me what is the issue with the watch I purchase from his shop, he seem like a very busy man. He likes his conversation short.

To me, the purchase of my grail watch must be a very pleasant experience. Because I totally don't want my grail watch associated with any bad "energy" upon the time I buy them.

If the shop sales personnel really give me that long and black face or even robot face look...I definitely walk away.

The more I get older the more I am more particular about this. People may call me superstitious but I really don't want my happy watch comes from unhappy transaction. :D

Agree with this comment.

We are buying luxury goods, not run-of-the-mill commodity items. The whole experience must make sense

Tks bro for sharing your experience. I have heard some of the unpleasant stories from others and therefore still never pay a visit to the shop and buy any from them now although I have once called of their sales person to check price for a particular watch. Not feeling pleasant during the conversation and thus decided not to pay a visit.

Fully agreed. I look for pleasant experience in getting my watch, either it is expensive or cheap, and not solely on its price.

I like the GOOD price part, but I really don't like feeling shitty when buying a watch. Wing Wah seems to excel at making people feel inadequate.

I would value the purchase experience too. If the shop does not value one's purchase, it makes no sense to buy from them. Overtime one looks at the watch, one would remember the bad purchase experience. I would much rather looked at my watch and remembered the tea, good services, short skirted knowledgeable salespersons, nice conversations, etc.

So many complaints about this Wing Wah and they were still some whom go there, so I thought that the prices must be really good. A quick glimpse showed that only the Pams were discounted by quite a bit, the Rollies and such were rather market prices, no?
