Never knew Frederique Constant don't have a long history. I like the design of some of their watches, but never bought any of them. A friend bought their moon face automatic watch, but spent a good 6 months under service when he first got it, it stopped working after less than a week.

Actually, Citizen Watch Co already owned some Swiss brands like Angelus, Arnold & Son, and Bulova; prior to acquiring FC and Alpina. So it was merely an extension of their strategy to strengthen their inroads into affordable Swiss watches. Brands in that category like Tag Heuer and Hamilton should pay attention to Citizen crashing their party  :Dancing_banana:
