Choice Of Bronze Watch
« on: May 19, 2016, 08:56:43 AM »
Hi guys...want to seek an opinion..am considering getting a bronze watch and the match up is between the two below:

1. Tudor Black Bay Bronze

2. Zenith Pilot Type Extra Special Bronze

Both watches have in house movements and even though the BB is not released locally yet, based on the oversea RRP, the Zenith should be couple thousand more expensive.

Am seeking opinions on their respective brand name/ prestige, longevity of the look/ design & other honest opinions ????

I have owned the Zenith bronze and is looking for BB Bronze. Both are classic with Zenith has bigger diameter at 45mm compared to BB at 43mm. If you have the budget, owned them all...

Hey bro, its quite a personal decision i guess. Both are very beautiful watches. Even i myself bought my first bronze case watch ( Zenith Pilot Type 20 Extra Special Bronze Case ) and i have to admit this bronze case is something different and personally i am enjoying it. With its unique patina patern its just amazing!

If you ask me which one to choose among these 2, it would be your personal choice and taste. If you dive seldomly/regularly then i think you should go for the Tudor. If you dont dive and would just like to add a nice bronze case watch i would recommend the Zenith. Both are beautiful in different terms.

I chose the Zenith because i do own the Rolex Submariner and i think i dont need an extra dive watch :)

Goodluck on making the decision
