Dear Sifus and daikor,

Can someone help me to identify is this a fake PAM 441 or ori....as i found out that the picture is different from what i got at Panerai website, but the seller said his model is 2012 version.

as usual, the rule of thumb,
buy the seller, not the watch,
if it was suspicious, is best to walk out from the deal rather than regret later

Got box and papers or not? And can he show you receipt where bought it from ?
Anyway if the price is too low it's usually too good to be true cause there are not many dumb sellers around.

Tq all sifu..Box paper ready but no receipt..the suspicious part is the date dash as the ori one always shorter..the seller willing to go verify but malaysia panerai sc doesnt open the case where they only check the exterior..so im worry the top replica might have the exact same exterior

this is one of the more popular fakes around, i seen them selling for around rm1k...some unscrupulous sellers have them for close to rm10k.
obviously all are still way below the market price of it.

so the obvious question that hasnt been asked yet - how much is it?

then we can assume the seller has also been duped into thinking its an original.

and one as a potential buyer should also do their own due dilligence.
there are enough resources out there on how to differentiate original from fake, especially for this model, detailing everything from hands, bezel, lugs, movement etc.

The movement surely show the fake part! I wouldn't deal with this person if i were you. To me, this watch value nothing better of buying a seiko 5 than this piece :)

apart from the movement
the crown has got some paint flaking off it.
and the strap is off.. the stitching is poor and the leather has little bits missing
imo it should be perfect

Rule of thumb, if the price is too good to be true, in most cases u just walk away from the deal. Retail from Grey importer should be around RM 40k now if not more. The movement looks darn fake la.

It's totally fake. Its ceramic but by just looking at it the color faded..and the engine finishing is rough

The best way to authenticate is send in to Panerai service centre at Menara Stanchard for service
